hallelujah:)

everyone, check this out:

I was talking to my dad on the phone last week and he shared with me something very powerful! He asked me if I knew what Nigeria was called in chinese- i said i didn't know. Then, he said the word "Nigeria" in Chinese, and i said, " Yeah, dad, that's it! that's the country." There was a brief silence over the phone. I then asked him why he was asking, my dad replied, "That was the country I was assigned to pray for when I was in Seminary, over 20 years ago." Hallelujah!!!! What a blessing and privilege it is for me to be able to step foot onto Nigeria this summer, a country that has been showered with thousands of prayers prayed by my dad even before I was in my mother's womb and before this year. I have faith and trust that God is going to do amazing things through our team there this summer. Hallelujah! What an awesome legacy!

don't ever underestimate the desires and passions the Lord places in our heart- he may fulfill the desires through you or through generations after you! just be faithful in praying:)

another thing i have to boast about the Lord: he has provided $3600 (I have to raise $4800). He is a generous God and i can't wait to see how he provides for all of us!! hallelujah!!

.shalom.

"the greatest of these three is love"

"But now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
1 corinthians 13:13
Jesus said, "I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."
John 17:26

Wow...when I stumbled across these verses this week, I realized that the love that the Lord has placed in us is something HUGE- "...that the love that [the Father] have for [Jesus] may be in [us]. Because the Word of God is true, therefore, this statement is saying that the Father's unconditional love for all is us, finite beings. What a humbling thought!

May we soak up his love today- and not just enjoy it ourselves, but his love may outpour from all areas of our lives, daily.

Quick update:
1. Praise God that $3300 has come in!! I still need to raise $1500, but God is good and I am praying that he will touch more individuals to give.
2. we had our evangelism training this past weekend. it was from 9am-4pm. we went through material about how to share the gospel with muslims and wrote out our testimony with specific things in mind that we want to use when we shared the gospel. it was also humbling to know that it is He who moves and saves and I pray that his power may magnify even through broken vessels, us.
3. 46 days until my Mcat exam. I am starting to feel the "pressure" and it's been discouraging at times because it seemed like I am trying and studying very hard and not doing well at all. It's been really sweet to be able to cling close to my Lord and trust that it is He who works in us and bring his work in us into completion at his time. I boast more about my weakness because it is in my weakness that he is strong!

peace. i love you all.
